Vintage men's formal set from Shields Fifth Avenue, consisting of a pair of cufflinks and three matching shirt studs in black and silvertone. This set doesn't seem to have ever been removed from its original hardshell box. Cufflinks have standard toggle backs. The cufflink heads measure approximately 3/4 inch in diameter; a black plastic center is set in a textured silvertone frame. Studs have 1/4 inch insets in polished silvertone bezels. This set most likely dates from the 1960s. A great item for the bridegroom or groomsman, or any guy who wants a bit of mid-century style for a formal occasion!
