Cute vintage bird pin in white, red and tan pearlized plastic - most likely made from the kind of nylon that was used for combs. Probably dates from the 1940s, pinbar is a type often seen on wartime jewelry. Has painted-on black eyes. Measures approximately 1-7/8 x 1-5/8 inch. Pinbar is made of the same plastic with a notch to hold the pinstem. Previously owned and in very good vintage condition - the only possible issue is a slightly bent pinstem, due to the fact that the "hinge" is slightly higher than the catch and the pin has to be bent down a little in order to fasten. It's a very cute piece - a great vintage look for anyone who loves figural pins, birds or plastic jewelry!
