Brooch has a frosted silver rosebud and two realistically detailed leaves, with polished stem and accents; it measures approximately 1-1/8 x 2-1/2 inches. Matching clip earrings have the same rosebud with a single leaf and measure about 3/4 x 1-3/8 inch. Earrings are unsigned, but pin is marked "Sterling H S B" (with a line through the letters); this is the mark of Harry S. Bick & Son, a New York company that made better-quality silver and gold-filled jewelry from 1947 through at least 1988.
