We offer here a long (approximately 61 inches) necklace consisting of short lengths of double link goldtone chain alternating with goldtone scroll medallions and stretches of mint-green beads. The centerpiece of each bead section is two clear glass beads with green spots around a silver-foiled core, making a pretty contrast to the goldtone of the rest of the piece. Flower-shaped green plastic rondelles complete the look.
While this is certainly flapper length, we don't think it comes from the flapper era. Necklaces like this were very popular in the mid to late 1960s because they're so versatile - you can wear them loose like a flapper, knot them, or loop them into a double strand. (We made ours triple to get it in the picture.) You can even wear it as a belt.
It's in very good shape for its age, though it is a pre-loved vintage piece. A pretty look for spring and a great accent for your retro look!
